I've used the PB Buamann screwdrivers and allen wrenches for many years. A little pricey but great quality. I've had the long hex keys in both metric and standard for over 13 years. Had to replace an 8MM I lost but have never broken one.

We became a Wera distributor but they did not sell very good so we stopped but they have GREAT products I also like Wiha another great line

I agree that the Wera straight tips do break but I have not found any better so I have stuck with them... the best thing to do is find a good price in them

I was buying 05031402002 by the dozen from Zoro they seemed to have the best prices and sell on a few different websites (ebay, walmart, amazon) also their own https://www.zoro.com/search?brand=WERA&q=Wera

The best brand of tools I know is the french FACOM, you like them when you just grab them, they are pleasant to the touch ... but I do not know if they will be available in your area.

The best screw driver that I have ever invested in is the ratcheting screw driver from Snap-On

https://store.snapon.com/Standard-Handle-8-3-4-Ratcheting-Standard-Screwdriver-P634146.aspx

It has a very nice large handle for a lot of torque. The ratchet action makes if fast. The shaft evens pulls out of the handle which I do sometimes to insert in a cordless drill. I've had one for over 20 years and it still goes on most job sites with me. The shaft is not insulated, so it is not the best for live circuits.

I was working in France a few years ago and had to go to the hardware store to buy a needle nose and cutters. They were Facom and I still have them. Nice build and fit.

Hey Nathan,
I have both brands and have never broke a tip. In the A-D Wera brand, I have individual screw drivers, so that could be a difference. On the single insulated Wiha brand with interchangeable tips, never broke one either. I bought a set of Bondhus tips to go with this as well.

One thing I find out is people don't use the correct screwdriver/bit for the task at hand. The slots in screws for electrical devices are a tad all over the place, and being lazy like some people, you never select the correct tool for the job. Easy to break something or break the device. Both have happened with the new guys.

My biggest is with my control panel builders.
They tighten the screws on the terminal blocks like they think the connection should allow you to pick up the panel by the wire. Getting these loose, is how I keep breaking the flat blade tips.
I am going to have to buy a torque adjustable screwdriver for them.

Pretty much the same here. We have a bunch of millennial's now that don't have a clue, but want a top paying job so they can play on their cell phone all day.

I didn't hire them!!!
