Hi all....I have a customer that was told that their Panelview Plus 600 will eventually fail due to the internal non-replaceable battery dying. Is this even remotely true? P/N is 2711P- T6C20D Series D

The PanelView Plus 400/600 terminals contain a lithium battery that is permanently connected. The battery is not field replaceable.

I have not replaced one. There is a knowledge base saying to contact your distributor to send your terminal for repair in order to replace the battery.
