Rehosting RS5000

I recently got an upgraded computer from IT. I have installed RS5000 on the new computer and I need to rehost the activation from my old computer to the new one. When I open up FT Activation Manager and go to rehost on the old computer, the RS5000 does not show up, but RS Architect which has the same serial number does. Is RS5000 grouped into Architect as far as the hosting goes? RS5000 does show up separately on the find activations screen, and is in the same LIC file on the hard drive.

Does the license show up when you "Find available Activations"?

If all else fails, you can usually get good help with activations with the Techconnect Online Chat or a phone call.

It is in the available activations screen, and shows 1 total 0 in use for both RS5000 and RS Architect.

Does it show that the activations are local to your PC? (under the Location column)

Its local, and matches the HDD serial number. I may try a reboot to see if that frees it up.

If that doesn't help try A/B TechConnect Chat. They have helped me a couple of times with license issues even when we didn't have a support contract.

I'll probably go that route in the morning if I rebooting doesn't help

Hey OkiePC, I had to update to the new version of FT Activation Manager. The it showed up correctly on the rehosting screen. Thanks for your help.
