RS Logix 500 cannot upload Micrologix 1400 Program

Need help--I use RXlinx clasic 2.34 --who is online connected to Micro Logix 1400. Read out Program Name and showing note is "1400" But When open RX Logix 500 (ver.8.0) to read program out--there is jumped an message "This is SLC 500 program"

Are you sure about that version of RSLinx Classic ? Version 2.3x would be about fifteen years old. What operating system are you running ?

Try creating a new project with your RSLogix 500 software and see if the MicroLogix 1400 Series A and Series B are selectable. If they aren't, it's likely that your software needs to be upgraded to support your MicroLogix 1400.

RSLogix 500 version 8.3 is required to support MicroLogix 1400 Series B. I'm not sure when the original Series A support was introduced.
