Connecting Cable ZEN CIF01

Good day!Anybody knows about ZEN CIF01 connecting cable?
when I using the usb serial port w/ my new Laptop,I cannot connect with ZEN controller. But if I used the old Laptop w/ built in serial port connection is made. Do anybody got experience on this.thanks
