1791 Block I/O to Controllogix?

We have a control system currently running a PLC5 with 4 1791 block I/O modules (16 AC inputs, 16 AC outputs) communicating over Remote I/O.

The management wants to convert the system to a Controllogix system, and my dilemma is to keep the 1791 modules and install a DHRIO card to communicate with them, or to install something with ethernet communication, which we will be using to communicate to the touch screen and remote racks.

Has anyone used 1791 block I/O modules with CLX?
