Can't open .GML file

I have GML Commander 4.03 and I can't open the .GML file attached:

When I try to open it, Windows gives me this error:





The file is the program from a 1394 Digital AC Multi-Axis Motion Control System.

I need to open the file and edit the program in order to modify some of the process control behavior of a machine.

What OS? If newer than XP, you may want to try Compatibility Mode set to Windows XP SP2.

I tried opening the .GML file on a true XP machine with GML Commander 4.0 and received an "Unexpected File Format" error. If this program is on a 1394 vintage controller, you may need to use GML version 3.8 or earlier. We used to keep a Windows 95 computer for that version, having difficulty getting it to run under XP.

So I would guess that either the file is .GML file is corrupt, or you will need and older version of GML programming software.

I have Windows 7 SP1.

Tried Compatability Mode set to Windows XP SP2 and got the same Windows error.

In Event Viewer it shows an Error level event with the following description:

I've also tried with all the other options of compatibility besides Windows XP SP2 (from Windows 95 to Windows 7) and got the same Windows error as before.

There is no script conversion tool, it has to be dome manually by someone who knows the language, good luck in finding anyone who can do that.
