in case the program installed is using the com-port, you can not connect with the programming system.

You can switch the CAN-ID Switches to 0xF 0xF and power on --> the programs installed will not execute, than you definitely can connect.

If you are not sure about the parameters just try this ones
57600, 8, 1, 1
57600, 8, 2, 1
57600, 8, 0, 1 (swichting parity, N, P, E), 1 Stopbit, 8 Databit

One of these will work!!

If you want, clear USER ROM in this mode, than the blocking of the com-port is gone as well as the program itself

CAN-ID Switch to 0 / 0 and power up brings the Operating-System Loader mode up. You can download a newer version of the operating system.

to day I following you and me adjusted two switch SW0=0 and SW1=0 and I connecting cable RS232, then opening software AS2.6 but I can not online in the evening. then I adjusted switch SW0=1 and SW1=1 again, now I see connecting online ok
in instruction manual of company RIETER

when I upload online cpu 4p4030.01.k05.
step 1: start B&R automation studio AS2.6

step 2: then press the Next> Another dialog box is then opened

step 3: another dialog box is then opened

step :4 another dialog box is then opened

selector project> service> transfer operaning system...

step :6 another dialog box is then opened

step :7 another dialog box is then opened selected Next >button

then I waiting for reconnecting about ten minutes after I pressing cancel
screen display will appear color white

this time I off supply power then me on supply power again but this time screen display Does not light up
I see LED electric power supply does not light up

after I see Flashing, Yellow and red flashing 1 sec then yellow and red off. this after flashing, Green 1 sec then flashing green off
Flashing, Yellow and red 1 sec then yellow and red off. this after flashing, Green 1 sec then green off again

can you help me
here, this screen display 4p3040.01.k05.

how doing to fix for screen display light up now?
have a question for your help. I have found errors when I upload panel 4p3040.01-k05 , could you help me how doing or how to fix those errors .

Hello there, I'm afraid that what you just did is erasing the entire memory, which means your programs, data, graphics are gone now. Your panel is not just a display, it is a controller by itself. If you don't have the backup program, practically you can't do anything now. Your ONLY option is to contact RIETER as the machine manufacturer (there's no point of contacting B&R in this matter).

I've found from the website there is Rieter's agent in Vietnam, maybe they can help you.

at this time. i can use card flash to fix and Restore come panel 4p3040.01-k05
copied from card to PLC sw0=4 and sw1=F
from PLC to card sw0=2 and SW1=F

inside card flash. it's has all program CPU panel 4p3040.01-k05
that is screen display 4p3040.01-k05

Can you check your COM setting in Automation Studio? It could be that Rieter is using different COM setting for their working panel. By default, factory setting should be 57600, 8, even, 1.

when panel p41 it's normal operating, company RIFTER teach for me when online which screen display, the adjusted SW0=1 and SW1=1 this time online ok and after I online ok, the but when I erasing the entire memory, this time screen , it's not yes screen display and I can't online

Hello,
can you provide some screenshots about the serial connection settings in AS ? As Kopitalk was writing, you need "57600, 8, even, 1."

The PLC expects this settings after Operating system download (which you did ).

OK, I have to admit that I am completely lost, I don't know what you want to do.

My point of view:

You have lost all the program of the original PP because you have downloaded the Operating system. You can not go online because you don't use the correct settings. We already wrote x times that you have to try different parity settings or that you should send information what serial parameters you are using.

Serial default parameters of B&R is 57600, 8, E, 1, this is in use after a OS download.

SW-0 / SW-1 can not be 0/0 (because 0/0 is Operating System download) otherwise is freely to choose.

Of course, the original Software could have used Switch-Settings for Operation Mode switching ore something else.

You can not restore any backup from CF card by setting of SW-0/1, I dont know what you always write about backup.

If you have a backup on the CF (or if you had) you can only load it with AS I think. I am not familiar with this stuff, sorry.

Do you have a AS Project for the machine ? Why do you need so urgently to go online to an empty system ?

I suppose it is 4pp045.0571-k13 instead? If yes, this panel is using CF Card, so image backup and restore can easily be done using Runtime Utility Center. Here is the steps:
1. Load CF card to your laptop via CF card reader.
2. Run Runtime Utility Center, then press F9 to "Generate Compact Flash".
3. Click "Select disk", choose your CF card, then click Ok.
4. Then click "Create image file from CF".

Some suggestions,
1. If you're lost, your best bet is to contact Rieter
2. If you have new questions regarding different issue, different hardware, please create a new thread
