PLC Programming / Automation Engineering Masters Program

Do one in medicine & become a doctor, over here it has been reported that some doctors are earning in excess of £600,000 per year, 5 times that of poor old Boris the PM. it's disgusting.

My step-dad told me to become a dentist in the early '60's. He said they made over $50,000 a year in just insurance payments alone. Probably brought this up because of the hideous amount of money he had to pay for my braces, while reminding me that I wasn't his son. I just couldn't see making a career of looking into dirty mouths and smelling someone's bad breath for 8 hours a day.

MBA these days are not that helpful with a few exceptions and these are:

- Your company pays 100% of it.
- You got accepted into one of the top program like Stanford/Harvard.
- You been promised* a big promotion if you get it.

It cost a lot to become a doctor both in time and money. Politicians are a dime a dozen and don't require any training or intelligence. Just look at some of ours like AOC.

No medicine take too long, I'm looking for only 2-3 years of school. Then what is the recommended masters degree to move up into manager positions in factories, such as area or plant manager positions?

Also, what is the best way to gain experience in becoming plant or area manager? I don't think there are any intern options for this, so do you just land a job at a small company, then work your way towards the bigger companies or the ones you want to work at?

Become an operator(or engineer), get promoted to supervisor, then superintendent, then manager. Be willing to move to a different state every time you get promoted, if its a big company. Expect it to take min 10 years.

My plant supplies parts for the big 3. I noticed that our representatives from Chrysler were changing frequently. When I asked why that was, my plant manager explained to me that Chrysler has a program where they basically start people at the bottom (liaisons with suppliers) and move them up the chain to gain experience. On our end, it is kind of a pain in the neck because we can never really build a rapport with our liaisons, but I can understand why they do this.

I found this site that shows what kind of degrees, prior experience, etc. that they look for in candidates in specific fields: https://careers.fcagroup.com/global-students/students-north-america/leadership-development-programs/. I wouldn't be surprised to find that more companies do something similar to this.

At least AOC seems to give a **** about the American people and not just sucking on the donors @#$%.

Does anyone have any ideas on my recent question?

Thanks,

Many places I have worked simply require a degree in something to get a management type position. In one case company the I was working for hired a maintenance manager with a 2 year degree in restaurant management. He had no tech skills, no experience, no clue how to interact with skilled people, but he had a degree, so he got the job. Senior Management at the same company were taken off guard when 3 maintenance people with over 35 years each at the company all "retired" within 6 months of the hiring, and with no notice. They simply walked into HR in the morning and said "I'm done as of 10 minutes ago". In total, the company lost almost half of their maintenance staff, which totaled over 175 years of combined knowledge.
Some places might be a little more picky, but the current trend is to hire anybody with some sort of degree, and hope they can figure the rest out as they go. I'm pretty sure a Masters in Underwater Interpretive Dance will be good enough to get you a management position in far too many companies.

The question I haven't seen you ask is "What skills do I need to be successful?" I really wish I heard that question more often.

Bubba.

You can't make peace with an enemy that hates you just because.

Got a source on that one?
Which one?
I have many. I love debating libtards on other forums.

Also, it is my money, and I'm sick of it going to endless war.

Me too but we didn't declare war on them. They declared war on us. It started back in the 1800s when president Jefferson had to defend US interests

To muslims we are just kufrs, infidels, suitable for or enslaving or killing.
I don't know why we get involved in anything over there except to kick the **** out of them when they bother us. I am against sending arm so Saudi Arabia like Trump did even though they don't like Iran.

Perhaps if we nuked and paved Iran after they invaded out embassy there would be no problems now.

BTW, muslims like to claim foul about the crusades but they don't know who started the problems.
The muslims invaded Spain and France long before the crusades.

I love debating libtards. They only repeat their talking points and never have any links to historical proof.

Just using the term libtard makes you a snowflake.

Now a source on the economy going in the dumpster for the green new deal.

Also, if we were really at war and not playing theater, why haven't we won? Do you have military experience? Draft dodger bone spurs sure doesn't.
