s7-1200 plc and encoder

Hi everybody.An encoder connected to S7-1200.When motor is turned encoder is producing pulse ,but pulse counting is progress than plc has error.Error led is blinking when encoder is producing pulse..and following message is shown.

Diagnostic buffer:
Temporary CPU error.

Buffer overflow for OB 0 events-Function will continue (system reaction)

I did use an A/B encoder on a s7-1200 some years ago. Did you resolve your problem tulip?
