Panelview boot version VS firmware version

Hi! I'm new here, but I think I'll hang around as there's a lot to learn!!

Anyway, I'm currently updating the firmware of a Panelview 1000 to 4.20 and wondering: what about the boot version? Does it change with firmware (apparently not, as it's still 1.05 even after update) and does it change anything at all for me? Some panelview here are 1.05 and some are 1.06. Could that difference create problems with buttons not displayed correctly? My other guess is that it's linked with Revision number, the 1.05 is on Rev B and 1.06 is Rev C. Could anyone confirm??

Is there any way to update the boot version?

Thanks!

Patrick
