Connecting Citect Scada 5.5 to PLC

Hi there,

i am new with scada citect, i would like to ask about communicating scada citect 5.5 to omron plc, series CJ1GH, Cpu 44 since there the model of this series is not included inside the scada citect 5.5... Does this means that i cannot connect this plc series to the scada?

Hi there,

Mind you that I know nothing about the Omron PLC. If the PLC has a Profibus master, you could use a gateway to link the PLC to the Scada.

The gateway supports ModbusTCP, EtherNet/IP and/or OPC (Anybus OPC server) on the Ethernet side and Profibus on the other..
