External Display

Hi,

I am looking for suggestions on a read out display that has Ethernet IP capabilities that i can send information to from a Logix5000 controller. The read out will be displaying scale weight and needs to be big enough to see from roughly 80ft away. Never had to do an application like this so thought i would see what others have used.

Get a TV with HDMI port, connect PC to it that runs Excel and RSLinx Classic and configure Excel to display tags that you need.

Automation Direct Viewmarq has configuration software that lets you build the initialization strings and variable placeholders for use in your logic. I've never used it outside of the Automation Direct ecosystem though, your mileage may vary with other platforms.
