Hi,

I am running somebody else's RSLogix 5000 code in Emulate and I run into the situation shown in picture "Strange001.LPG", attached.

In my mind, in the second branch of Rung 3, BOOL "I2._07" should be energized. But it's not. Please note BOOL "Sim" is preventing the CPS instructions in Rung 2 from executing.

There are other similar branches in the same rung where the same happens with other BOOLs.

Other than that, the code is being run/emulated normally.

I am attaching the cross reference for "I2._07" as picture "Strange002.JPG" so you can see there is no other instruction writing to it.

I am finally attaching the UDT "IO" definition for type "IO" as picture "Strange003.JPG", so you can see that tag "I2" is just a collection of 32 BOOLs called "._00", "._01", etc.

Here are the details:
RSLogix 5000 V20.03.00 (CPR 9 SR 5)
Emulator RSLogix Emulate 5000 Controller 20.13
RSLogix Emulate 5000 21.03.00 (CPR9 SR5.1)
Windows 7 Professional SP1

Does anybody figure out why that BOOL is not energized?

Thank you!
