i am wondering if we have a temperature sensor without any data ,

i don't know its min and max ranges ,
how to scale it in plc Siemens tia portal

Exposing the unknown sensor to a container of ice water and a container of boiling water would give you two data points to work with.

Do you have probe or transmitter?
