Hi all,
This is my first post here.

I'm a student just started to learn how to use Omron CJ1M. We
intend to use the instruction "PLS2" to generate pulse
to control a stepper motor. :)scratch: not sure if PLS2 is
suitable bcos the PLC will be connected to a stepper
motor driver)

The problem is, the programming manual for CJ1M seems
limited. I dont know what the PLS2 the parameters "S","M","F" stands for...can anyone explain it to me?

Any example/tutorial of using PLS2 or suitable
instructions is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

Can you give us the complete part number of the cpu?
The CJ1M family includes processors with built in I/O (CPU21/22/23). There is a separate manual for those processors that include specific examples of those instructions.

CJ1M with Built in I/O Manual

Hope this will help.
