Hi All,

I know I had the above software years ago for programming the old FX0 series PLCs, but can't find the original disks etc. now I need them again.

I've come across an old job where I need this software again as a one off, so I don't really want to pay hundreds for whatever the current Mitsubishi software is (GX Developer ? maybe ?) to only use it once.

Has anyone got an old unused copy of the above gathering dust on a shelf or in a cupboard somewhere that they would be willing to sell ?

I've got the programming cable, just can't find my software !

Many thanks,

Mark.

Hi, and thanks for the links !

Not exactly what I was looking for but the last one looks like it may well do the job. It says it will import an FXGPWIN file.

I'll give it a go.

Thanks again,

Mark.

All, I have a similar issue, however the information in this thread does not solve it. I have been given a Mitsubishi PLC project that consists of 4 files (COW,DMW,PMW,PTW). I've tried opening these with all the links in this thread (Dos software, GX-Developer F). I've also tried my full version of GX Developer and GX Works 2. None seem to be able to handle this ancient project style. All that I've read points to me requiring FXGP/Win-E software to open this.

I am unable to find a downloadable (or demo) version of this FXGP software. I did read, however, that I can simply connect to the PLC using either GX Developer or GX Works 2 and read out the program. I'm concerned that the comments are not in the PLC though.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

The filetypes You mention are used by MMFXWIN, this was issued after the DOS MELSEC MEDOC series and before GPFXWIN. It runs on windows XP and installs without password or code.

If You are still interested and have trouble obtaining this program I may be able to help You

Regards , JW

Hi JW222,

I have exactly the same problem as Guitarmaestro69. I have an old project and its file extensions are .COW, .DMW, .PMW, .PT.
I can import them with GX Developer 8.45X but I get errors I can't solve.
I'd really need to get a copy of MMFXWIN to download those files into a FX2n PLC.
Any help would be much appreciated.

OK, I was able to open the plc program without errors, download it into the PLC and test everything.
You helped me a lot JW, I owe you a beer ;)
