Has anyone used a TATO PLC or HMI?

I'm working on a temperature/humidity test chamber that was made in China sporting a TATO PLC that looks exactly like a Micrologix 1000. Also has a TATO HMI. Has anyone worked with these or have any idea what software I need to download the programs? I believe TATO is made in Taiwan.

There only appears to be a company called Tato holdings I bet it is either a cloned PLC or made under license. A google search did not come up with any relative answers only a holding company.

I also saw the Tato Holdings google result and the one for sale on ebay. My experience has been that Chinese companies will reverse-engineer products and then manufacture something that looks remarkably similar but of extremely poor quality. Someone at the company I work for got a "great deal" on a test chamber from China. It has a knockoff TATO PLC and TATO HMI. I haven't found much of anything on them in my research and definitely no software to go online with them if I need to troubleshoot them. My fear is that they will soon fail and the whole machine will then become useless.

The temperature controller companies of yesteryear all had a dual channel 'setpoint programmer' model that was used for environmental chamber ramp/soak temperature/humidity control.


The last couple chambers I've run into seemed to have custom -made controllers rather than commercial units.


I'd think either a stand-alone SP programmer or a PLC with time proportional PID (for electric heat) and on-off for humidity could retrofit the controls on an environmental chamber.
