Hi folks, I've been having a problem enabling my Kinetix 300 over E/IP. 1stime Kinetix/EIP user here. A few questions Im hoping to find aswers too.. Any help is appreciated

Project Components:

Servo Drive ------- Kinetix300 E/IP
PLC ---------------- Micro850
Software ----------- Connected Components Workbench

I've connected to the drive over E/IP; have modified parameters in motionview, checkphasing runs fine; Digital IO>enable... (all from the manual)

...and the drive will not enable. Shunt in not wired; is this required?

So I found one thread and one written document stating that the i/o expansion block IS required in order to use EIP communication?

Any Advice on how create the worlds simplest program in CCW in order to write messages in to the Drive using EIP.

Thanks!
