1771 - IFM Fast Millivolt BTW error

Great leadMicky

I have now tried.

Fresh .RSP with only new files.
Test AS per Micky's link

1771-IFF A
Fast Analog Input, 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels
1771-IFF B
Fast Millivolt Input, 8 differential channels
#

Input voltage range specification changed from 0 to 35mV to 0 to 50mV

Changed write length from 20 21 to
8,9 ,10, - 12
then lost track will test again after I get some time

Result
Got really excited
stayed for ever in the enabled state and looked at the control word to see if DN ever happened.
added a counter to done bit to see if it was just my remote connection that's when I realized that it was close but no good result

Test
[As the manual states off the top of my head]
send a block write with a length of 0
Result
Error

Next to try
Wipe the processor / use different processor
add a HMI so i can watch what happens in more real time over a camera system.
add traps and counters to log all of my testing results

Thanks again Micky
Matt

Sorry for the confusion Mickey. I thought I had posted this earlier. It is a 1771 ifm fast millivolt series B. I must have fat fingered it during the evil copy and paste.

Does anyone know the part number for that plug that plugs into the 1771 devicenet scanner? The manual just says it is a linear plug, its 5 pins.
