We are installing new S120 drives on a R&D machine.. we will have a master drive with multiple slaves.. The slaves will follow the master line speed and then the ratio to the master. The rolls are different roll diameters and have different gearing.. Does the S120 have a setting to adjust gearing? Or should I do the following.. Set Master Line Actual Roll Speed to xx fpm and make all other surface area speeds match.. Then, I could use the mult blocks to adjust my line speed to get the proper roll speed, then my ratio could adjust on top of that..

As of now, we have the master drive speed output feeding the slaves and everything controls well.. However, our speeds are not correct because of the gearing-roll diameter differences.. Just looking for the best way to compensate for this in the S120..

Thanks,

Easy. Just adjust p2000 to the proper value. So let’s say your desired surface speed is 100 ypm , but the actual is 120.

100/120 = .833

Take .833 x p2000

Then adjust p2000 to your answer
