Good Morning everyone. Trying to install a 1783-NATR comms module
on a system with a CompactLogix L32E processor, An unmanaged switch
with a 3rd party remote I/O 1756-ENBT scanner and an Ethernet Laser
measurement device. I want to be able to access the processor on the private
side thru the public port on the front. I have given the public port a good IP
that will work on our plant network I have given the private port a unique IP
that is the same subnet as all the other devices. plus gave it a gateway IP
the same as the public IP. I set up a translation rule with a unique IP
from the public side and a unique IP on the private side. I applied the settings
and cycled power. I can no longer reach the NATR thru the network connection.
let alone see the processor, what am I doing wrong?

Each device on private side should have Gateway address specified. This address is Private address of NATR.
