RS5000 / Linx PC refresh time UGhh!!

Just got my new laptop and loaded all my plc software back on
Linx is configured. I can see the processor with linx.
the path in my prgm is correct. but when I attempt to go
online I get an error. Failed to go online with the controller
Can't open the specified RSLinx driver.
Error 701-80042538. Anybody got a clue.

from within Logix5000, use the Who Active to test if you can see the processor

I did that and I see the processor. The path matches. But it won't
connect.

I just rebooted and tried again after resetting the path. and I am on.
Go figure! Thanx for the help!

when performing a trend I get the following error
Error: Can't open the specified RSLinx driver

RS5000 / Linx PC refresh time UGhh!!
