PanelView Plus 700

Hello everyone...

I'm facing one problem on recently purchase the PanelView Plus 700(Cat.Log 2711P-T7C4A8, SER A). FactoryTalk View ME Ver 9.00, *.mer ver 9.0(I tried in V5.1, V7.0, V8.0, and V9.0) RSLinx Ver 3.81.

Error "The Destination selected is not a valid device. Please select the Valid destination and try again"

I face this problem if we use ME transfer Utility for PanelView 800 Device. That's acceptable.

Please help me...

Question is the IP address on the screen the same at the screenshot?

Thanks for ur quick reply..

Yes...

I took the .mer file in the pen drive and downloaded into HMI then I try to communicate but still same problem..

Have you tired to transfer the .MER with a CF or USB?

Are you sure that the new PV is 9.0 and not 10.0?

If it is try deleting the driver in Linx enterprise and build a new one.

If you have Tech Connect support search 24344 and 276779

Yesterday I downloaded with USB only...
If your asking for PanelView Versions then its showing 10.

I think the version may be wrong there is 2 ways to fund the version ,
1) on boot up the hmi shows the version as app (9.0app) would be verion 9

2 go into config screen -teminal settings- system info-about factorytalk
Then create a runtime to that version ?

Yes...

Same file was running in the old HMI, I only change the HMI with new due to old get damaged..

HMI Version is 10..
I transfer the file with USB and its working good..

I think version is not an issue because we can make a .mer file with lower version.. Of it's creating a problem then after download error have to incompatible version...
Some HMI's have v8 and lesstgen that version .Mer file runs fine..

What about the firmware of HMI, did you checked is it the same ver like the old one.
