Protection for Single-Phase Immersion Heater

I don't know what you are heating, but for our hydraulic tank heaters, we just run them (with built in thermostat) directly from the breakers in a distribution panel. Fuses and contactors work, too, though more to go wrong. If you need some kind of monitoring/alarming, your attached image looks pretty thorough.
