Rockwell DeskLock Question

After replacing the existing Desktop on Windows with DeskLock I could of swore that you could access the Desktop again I just cannot remember how. I don't want to change the setting back to "Use existing Windows Desktop." I thought this was possible, I could be wrong however. Anyone have any idea? If you need me to explain further, please let me know what you would need to know.
