Kinetix 300 Java in Windows 10 VM

Has anyone had any luck getting the JAVA interface for the Kinetix300 drives working with windows 10?

Nope, I tried for a morning and gave up.

I went back to using a Win 7 VM, I wasted a morning and that was all I could afford to give this stupid clunky system.
