Citect Addressing
Quick question for the Citect gurus out there. I am installing a new CitectSCADA system on a customer's existing RTU. I have a list of the MODBUS addresses that the RTU uses for data. However, I have run into something I'm not sure how to handle. Some of the status bits, instead of using actual bit addresses, are packed into 40000 registers. For example, the communications fail status is listed as 40128:3 and the power fail status is listed as 40153:0. Does anyone know of a way I can address these bits directly from the MODBUS driver, or am I going to have to bring in the registers and write CiCode to strip out the bits I need? Thanks.
