I'm trying to communicate to an old TI545 using the rs232 port, could someone tell me the pinouts to make up a comm's cable, or point me in the right direction for the manuals.

thanks in advance

The AB cable for connecting to the serial port of SLC's (I forget the number) will work just fine. I tried it one day on a whim, and now I have to carry one less cable in my bag.

Thanks for all the replies, i'll try the AB cable on Monday.

The Hardwarebook looks as though it has everything I ever wanted to know about cables and pinouts.

cheers
