I believe the "smart cables" ars supposed to detect just such a misconnection and prevent the result shown. They obviously don't work too well.

OK...I got it
She was having a affair with the producer of the show and she wanted him to leave his wife for her, he said no... after a long affair she finally had enough of his evil lying ways... then tried to set the place on fire and get him fired, this is why she walks off the stage at the end just before the smoke

rofl - is that supposed to be better than what normal cables would do? Maybe it is - I've never tried.
