Talking between s5 c db and s7 opn db

What is diferent between S5 C DB and S7 OPN DB?

I found that when i convert the program from s5 to s7

the function of OPN DB can only execute in that

particular network and cannot call the other data for following

network.

I can't help with the S5 part, never worked with that, however I'm a bit puzzled by your statement about the OPN DB command. Once you've opened a DB it stays open until another DB is opened, either explicitly, or implicitly, by using a fully qualified address, such as:

L DB1.DBW0

The OPN DB command is not limited by network boudaries.
