Problem in Installation of software RS Logix 500 - PLCS.net

I bought a package of CDs including Rockwell Software RS Logix 500 English. I want to install this software in my LAP TOP but I don’t have Floppy Disk drive in my PC. When I install the software, windows ask me activation key which is originally in a Floppy Disk. Please give me a tip how can I install the program correctly.

The following presume that you have the activation floppy diskette:

1. Get a USB floppy drive.

2. Use an older PC with a floppy drive, network it to your laptop, and map its floppy drive to your laptop as a network drive. Use the normal EVMOVE utility to move the activation across the network to your hard drive.

3. Use an older PC with a floppy drive and a USB port and use the EVMOVECF utility to move the activation onto a USB memory device, then move the activation from the USB memory device to your laptop.

New sales of RSLogix 500 are offered with the new FactoryTalk activation mechanism, which uses a text file and an Internet connection (or phone call) and does not require a floppy drive.
