GE FANUC IC693CMM311 Communication problem

Good afternoon, GE FANUC IC693CMM311 PLC communication problem with the Win98 operating system program, have the BGM elite. already working in our system, we wanted to provide communication hardisk crashed again with the new drives, but could not due. I used the program only allows the COM2 port communications and control the ports on LM90 program when I see it works, that is, ports do not have trouble. I use the RS232 and RS485 cables. SNP only mode. When I run the Elite program, "Memoria esaurita (insufficient memory)" I am getting an error. You probably have a problem from the port settings, port settings in the BIOS if you have information about who can help?

It's hard to tell for sure from your translation, but my first impression is that your memory manager is not making enough of the old DOS 640K conventional memory available for Logicmaster's SNP communications driver.

I don't know what a "BGM Elite" is. Is that the computer you are using to run Logicmaster 90 software? What version of Logicmaster 90 are you using? What operating system?

That is a very old version of Logicmaster. The following is from the release notes for version 4.5 of Logicmaster GFK-0468n.

The Logicmaster 90-30/20 Release 4.5 WSI and the Standard Serial COM Port versions require a
minimum

of 569,344 bytes of available DOS application memory in order to run.

If additional DOS application memory is required, system software error ID: 0000 EX: 0000 will occur.
Check the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files to remove TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident)
programs and any unnecessary device drivers to make more application memory available. For example,
Logicmaster 90-30/20 does not require the ANSI.SYS driver.

Both versions require a minimum 1024 KB of Lotus/Intel/Microsoft Expanded Memory (LIM EMS 3.2 or
higher) for optimum performance.

The Logicmaster 90-30/20 software occupies about 3 MB of disk space. Make sure you have adequate disk
space on your hard disk before attempting to install the software.

DOS Version 5.0 or later.

80386 or higher processor and 2 MB RAM.

For the Standard Serial COM Port Version, a computer with a COM port serviced by the National

Semiconductor 16550 UART is recommended.

I provided communication with RS232 25pin to 9 pin cable, but I must provide communication to plc with RS485-RS422-RS232 cables. I set Logicmaster settings for it, (19200,RS485 e.t.c) but I have a problem what I don't know. Likely port settings in BIOS or in Logicmaster, or in my cable. Can I get your e-mail adress for help? I can send photo my PLC and communicate system. My email is gencfbewren@gmail.com, thanks a lot and sorry for my english.

I connected plc with rs232 cable (cmm311) but I must connect with RS485 cable. I set settings in logicmaster (I/O configuration menu). Rs232-Rs485. to my way of thinking, problem is in config.logicmaster utilities settings (CUU), problem encountered "specific port was not installed"..
