Russ. Greg answered the question quite well. The one that usually concerns me is trying to drive multiple VFDs off 1 analog output card. The specs for the cards will show what resistnce they will drive into and running the VFD analog circuit in series usually exceeds this with any more than 2 cards. (brand sependant of course)
