1756-OB16IEFS 16 point 24V DC scheduled output card

I am replacing a 1756-OB16E 16 point 10-31 V DC card with the above card in a 16 slot Rack with a 1756-L71 control Logix 5570 controller.
The problem is that the status in properties keeps changing from good to not connected. There is no minor or major fault displayed and other than the status changing no fault codes. the module itself shows good with the green led.
Any suggestions appreciated
