About technology on lighting control system.

Hi all,

About lighting con trol system. As i know that, there is a component which is intalled on the lamp, and it will control the lamp on or off. this component is controled from a computer via the power supply line. That mean, the control sinal is attached on the power supply line to on/off the lamp.

So, anyone know this technology? please help me where i can study/purchase about it.

I looked into this a while back. I myself consider the best technology around to be DALI network. Unfortunatelly here in US it has a very low level of acceptance. It is big in Europe though.

Wago has an interface module for their PLC. Here in US Allen Bradley people don't have any idea what you are talking about if you raise the question of DALI. Other Companies involved in DALI are Leviton, Echelon (Lonworks), Tridonic, Lithonia, Lightolier etc.
