Hello everyone,

I have an RSLogix5000 project which is running live in the factory but I need to make some changes to the logic. I want to test the changes while the project is not live in the factory. So I made a backup in which I can apply the changes. I want to add an emulator PLC to the hardware configuration and go online using the emulator PLC without deleting the current live controller configuration.

The problem is that I can add the emulator PLC in the project hardware configuration but the project will not let me download it to the emulator PLC. Because it wants to download to the original controller. Is there any way I can change the 'main controller' of the project to the emulator PLC so it will download to it?

Thanks!
