Adding Firmware Revision to ControlFlash

Hello all,

I have been tasked with flashing our processors to the newest version of Studio 5000, and have downloaded the DMK file for the corresponding processor and firmware. My issue comes from trying to add the firmware to the ControlFlash list for installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Are you adding the .dmk file to the default ControlFlash location?

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Rockwell Automation\Firmware Kits

Yes, it is in the correct location. Does ControlFLASH only offer up to 24.0; I see there's a ControlFLASH Plus.

Never mind, I apologize. I made the foolish mistake of assuming it would be under 1769-L3, when in reality it was under GuardLogix 1769-L3 !

You can also use the DMK extraction tool to put the files in the correct location
