Alignment and FCS Error in compact logix

Hi friends,

Can any one help me with this
I have system with compact logix which is communicating with a PLC ie also a compact logix and 3 OPC test clients
from last few days i observe Alignment and FCS errors in port diagnostics can anybody tell me what is the effect of this errors on my system and how to avoid this errors?

Alignment and FCS errors are always the result of faulty Ethernet cabling or induced noise on the Ethernet network.

Inspect, repair, or replace your Ethernet cables, starting with the one connected to the CompactLogix controller.

I can't tell you how it's going to affect your system. FCS and Alignment errors indicate a noisy Ethernet link, and that's going to result in retries and timeouts at the TCP level, and probably also at the CIP level.

At best it will just slow down and cause small random delays in your system. At worst it will cause your system to fail to communicate reliably.
