I need to ghost this machine.

I have Acronis 2017 with an Aegis 2tb secure drive. I cannot get the 1500P to recognize my Aegis after using a USB CD drive to start my Acronis App. Any pointers into what I am missing would be appreciated. I am running Windows 10 64 on my laptop.

I always had issues with Norton Ghost booting from a CD/DVD and trying to use a USB drive. It would never detect the USB drive.

I eventually just created a Ghost USB boot disk. If I recall I used the .ISO from Ghost to create the bootable USB drive. It's been ages since I did it though. Perhaps something similar would work for Acronis.
