IO-LINK Schematic Procedure (ACAD-E)

This is my first IO-Link project. I am having trouble figuring out how to draw this in ACAD-E. How to show the system as well as the wiring to individual sensors / actuators etc. What is the schematic procedure for the IO-link system?


Anyone have an example or demo etc ?

I typically show IO-Link Master on one page and then each device connected to IO-Link Master port has its own page.

I will have around 48 devices (proximity sensors / Sol actuators.)

i am doing the exact project now. Company policy does not allow me to post any of the work. here is what i am doing.
example.
sheet 310 - iolink master. detail all slaves connected or individual io
311 -port 1 slave details
312 -port 2 slave details
313 -port 3 slave details
314 -port 4 slave details
315 -port 5 slave details
316 -port 6 slave details
317 -port 7 slave details
318 -port 8 slave details
each port has the port pin number and wire color. that way no one is guessing
if a cable has to be made.
the next master will be page 320,then 330 and so on.

i would make a typical pin out page for any cable that needs made up in field and not made up in field (for troubleshooting purposes)
Also, m12 ethernet cable connections. This is what always got me is the different ethernet cable connectors that are produced by manufacturers. It really confuses the installers, so try to minimize different brands sent. Also, give them a you tube link on how to install, cuts down on calls.
