Dear All,

IS there anybody run Factory Talk SE client file on 24" LCD display before ? Is it display look good ?

My client asked me to provide the work station 24" LCD monitor as HMI unit. I am not very sure that it is suitable or not ?

Thank you.

There is no realistic maximum size. It is just a program running on a PC (well, several dozen programs), so the display can be whatever your PC/monitor can handle.

When working on large displays, I strongly suggest having an even larger display for your development enviornment. Scrolling is FTStudio is an exercise in frustration.

Wether it "looks good", or not. As you put it, will depend on the screen resolution not its physical size.

True that, 640 x 480 VGA will look crappy on a 60" display :)

Always try to use the maximum resolution of the display, and develop in the same resolution; FTView can't scale things well.

I did one FTView SE display using an 50 inch monitor. Using its native resolution. It looked great.

I've seen things running on 60" TVs overhead in rooms before and looks fine.

Resolution is what matters - not screensize so much.
