Need help with RSLogix5000 timer instruction

i need to pass a value stored in a tag to a timer as its preset value. how do i do something like this?

this preset value will be the result of a calcuation and is determined as the program is running.

any help would be appreciated.

Make sure your value is scaled into milliseconds, and just move it to the preset.
