Needing some Help with SLC500 and Transnet radios

Hi All,

Basic question here. We are trying to connect to a SLC5/03 from our computer using MDS transnet radios. We can t seem to get them to connect. Can someone direct me to a site or manual that can show how to properly set things up? Right now on the transmission side we have the serial port connected to the data port onthe radio and a cable connecting the modem port and the diag port. We've been trying to use hyperterminal to send a RSlogix file to our SLC 5/03, but we get improper file format errors.

What model radio are you using. Have you set one to master the other to slave, and address each differently? Attach a copy of the radio configuration for each.

Has this problem been fixed yet? If so what was done to correct it?
