OMRON CJ2M-CPU13 - SCU32- Communication

HI ,

Thanks a lot for the reply & help on previous topic.

Now i setting up a new system with 2x CJ2M CPU13 and 2x SCU32 and the connection via 1000M RS485 cable.

May i know the best communication to use for the serial communications for 1000m RS485? Any body have a sample programme or code or tutorial videos?

I have not done this on this controller but look at the Serial PLC Link.
"The Serial PLC Link Area is used for Serial PLC Links. They can be used for data links to other PLCs.
For Serial PLC Links, data is exchanged between CPU Units using serial ports without communications programming. "

Unfortunately you cannot configure the SCU32 as PLC Link.


If you want to use the SCU32, you will probably need to set in to no protocol mode and use RXDU and TXDU instructions.
