PanelView restore error

Maybe an easy question. I have FactoryTalk View Studio v10.00.00. I am trying to open a PanelView Plus archive file, but get the Application Manager error message... "filename.apa is not a valid archive file". I have seen this question asked years ago... but nothing current.
Suggestions?
