PV1000 with OMRON PLC

HI; i have in stock PV1000 DH+ ,and i want install this PV with OMRON plc CS1J CPU44; is there possible ? if is ok ;please descript a communication card for application.

From one of Rockwell's publicity brochures on RSView ME:

Extended connectivity to other PLC vendors

through OPC. Rockwell Automation offers

KEPServer Enterprise to provide communication
​

between many third-party industrial devices
​

and RSView

If your Omron CPU supports one of the connections shown, then you might look into the KepServer offering. More details on Rockwell's webpages.

What communication format does the Omron Support ?

You can Get DH+ To Ethernet, DF1 and DH485 convertors

the omron have host link and sysmac link protocol

Sorry, that PanelView is only going to communicate with an A-B controller that has DH+.

Connecting it to an Omron controller directly is not possible.

You could use a bridge device, but these are typically very expensive and complex.

Check whether Red Lion Data Station Plus can be used in this case. It can work as a protocol converter and it supports both AB and Omron protocols

Unfortunately, I don't think one of our devices will work (as a protocol converter, but a G3 could replace the PV), as we do not have a DH+ driver (master or slave).
