I don't remember how I did it but here are my thoughts...in this order
1. Look in the startup folder of your program files. Delete it if you find it.
2. Right click on an icon to get to the properties setup and see if you can disable it.
3. Look in services and see if you can change it from automatic to manual
4. Last resort.....Start--> Run --> regedit. (this edits registries - be very careful)
- click once on My computer to highlight it
- edit --> Find select "keys" and "match whole case" search for "run"
- When you find a run folder/key, look for the program for Rockwell updater.
- Delete it if you find it.
- If you don't find it, hit F3 to Find Next.
Be very careful doing this last step.
All of the above will probably need admin rights.
