Hello.
1) Selco M3000 configured to 4-20mA on input 41 to read temperature from PT100
2) PT100 connected through M1500 transmitter (connected like in manual)

3)Selco M3000 show temperature -79 (not real temp.)

How can I get real temp. to selco? if needed I can send config file.
I think M1500 not working! what do you think? How can I check transmitter is alive or not?

Thanks.

what input is PT100 wired up to?
what output is going to your M3000?
what is your dip switch on your 1500?

on you m300 what are
InpTp InpLo InpUp LCDLo LCDUp set to?

to check transmitter do you have an ammeter to do a quick and dirty check?

a -79 seems like a 0mA reading on the 0-300 scale

for your input you have the positive wire from m1500 going to terminal 41 and the common to gnd and you are looking at input 4 when you see the -79?

if not is your M3000 fed from same 24VDC supply as the M1500, ie have same GND

I have an SM3000 on the same network with a few compactlogix plcs. One of the issues with the SM3000 is that it periodically loses its ethernet...
