Hi all, I am using a MSDOS laptop to communicate with a siemens S5. I get an error Overflow in data exchange with pg and am unable to go online. Any ideas? Dos 6.22, S5 ver 6.65

I have seen this kind of message in two situations:

  • when a student was trying to communicate without a current loop converter between PC and PLC
  • when a student did change the port settings of the PC.
Hope this may help.

Kind regards,
